We are public educators who want to share relevant strategies and resources in a convenient and productive professional development environment through an efficient and cost effective model.
History
The Kaw Valley Academy of Technology and Education was started as a Professional Development solution for the staff at Kaw Valley USD 321. Educators were asked to pass their knowledge on to their peers through short sessions on a wide range of topics. Noting the overwhelming success of KVATE, we decided to offer the Academy to Educators all over the state of Kansas. KVATE uses an "Educators teaching Educators" model. This allows for cutting edge, pertinent, and area specific professional development at a very low cost.
